Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism Policy

"Ensuring the originality of thought and the sanctity of academic attribution in Islamic Education scholarship."

Academic Integrity

Plagiarism is the act of copying or closely imitating the work, ideas, or language of others without proper acknowledgment. At Edu Global: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam, any form of plagiarism—including self-plagiarism—is considered a severe breach of professional ethics and academic trust.

Detection Methodology

To maintain transparency, all submitted manuscripts are rigorously screened using Turnitin® plagiarism detection software. This tool compares the manuscript against billions of web pages and a vast database of previously published scholarly articles.

Similarity Limit

20%

Maximum cumulative similarity index allowed for acceptance.

Protocol for High Similarity

If the Turnitin report indicates a similarity index exceeding 20%, authors will be requested to revise the manuscript by improving paraphrasing, correcting citations, or removing redundant content. Manuscripts that fail to meet this threshold after two revision cycles will be summarily rejected.

Author Responsibility

The lead author is fully accountable for the originality of the work. This includes ensuring that all direct quotations are clearly attributed and that no part of the research has been published concurrently in another journal.

NOTICE: Plagiarism may lead to immediate withdrawal of the article, a formal report to the author's home institution, and a permanent ban from future submissions to Edu Global.
